Here it comes.....ready or not! Christmas
is on its way and we have "decked our halls"
with lots of recycled holiday
goodies, decor, furniture, and more!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You"ll find glitter and baubles.....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
trees made of metal....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
and primitive wood trees
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
and stars...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Snow village houses.....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
red shiny and silver....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
turqouise and blue -
with the beach in a ball!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Even Santa's glasses
adorning a vintage tree.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
These little gourd snowmen
are made locally.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We have lots of locally made goodies like...
a variety of twig framed original photos by
Laura Heilman from Roopville..
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
and cards printed from the original
artwork of local artist,
Sally Jones.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ronda Robinson made up
a beautiful selection of pottery ornaments....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My daughter, Hannah, is felting again -
she's made felt covered soap and
these darling little felt acorns....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My other daughter, Jessie,
has been busy creating these
wonderful wreaths from
vintage books and music....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My employee ("daughter"), Laura,
made darling feather fascinators....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And I even got to have some fun myself and
made these soy teacup candles that
smell like hot holiday drinks
(like mulled cider and peppermint tea).....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mandy Roach brought in some
of her pretty new artwork.
Of course, I love the birds best...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And with our usual fun fare like
Janet's goatmilk soap,
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Olivia's jellies and preserves,
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
and Charlotte's everchanging
masterpieces -
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Why would you need to shop anywhere else?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We even have a good variety of
new (old) furniture...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(a rare pair of twin beds)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And a light fixture that
we have dubbed our
"redneck chandelier"...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Plus, you can feel good knowing
that you shopped "green" -
buying American, recycled treasures
and supporting our local economy.
